Domestic violence is a constant behaviour which involves the abuse by one partner untoanother in an intimate relationship, such as; marriage, dating or within the family or have had an intimate relationship in domestic settings. Domestic violence can take many forms, including physical aggression or assault e.g. hitting, kicking, biting, restraining, slapping, or threats thereof, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, intimidation(psychological abuse), stalking, economic abuse and spiritual abuse.
